Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that is older, to create an account and use figurethisout.

figurethisout helps you think through a question by answering a short series of follow-up prompts, then returns a result: either a probability-style read generated by our scoring engine, or an insight generated by an AI model based on your specific question and answers. It is a self-reflection and decision-support tool, not a source of certainty.

Results on figurethisout, including in categories such as Mental Wellness, Health, Relationships, Family, Finance, and Religion, are generated for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or religious advice, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified, licensed professional.

AI-generated results are produced by an automated system and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your situation. Use your own judgment, and seek professional help for medical, mental health, legal, or financial decisions. If you are in crisis or in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately, figurethisout is not equipped to provide emergency support.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Each account is for one individual person; please do not share accounts.

• Coins are a virtual credit used within figurethisout to unlock results. Coins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• Coins are purchased through our payment processor (currently Paystack, with other processors added over time) at the price shown at the time of purchase.
• Purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.
• If a result fails to generate due to an error on our side, any coins reserved for that attempt are returned to your balance automatically.
• We may change coin prices or the coin cost of a feature going forward. Changes do not affect coins you have already purchased.

You agree not to:

• Use figurethisout for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit another person's private or sensitive information without their consent.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract content from the service.
• Harass, abuse, or attempt to defraud De Illustris or other users.

figurethisout, including its questions, scoring logic, design, and branding, is owned by De Illustris Professional LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the questions, answers, and comments you submit, and you grant us a license to use them solely to operate and provide the service to you, including sending them to an AI provider where applicable.

You may stop using figurethisout and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where necessary to protect the security or integrity of figurethisout.

figurethisout is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, De Illustris Professional LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of figurethisout. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold De Illustris Professional LTD harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of figurethisout or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice where practical. Continued use of figurethisout after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
